Bee Tree Creek is a tributary of Boone Fork in Julian Price Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The creek runs right beside Boone Fork Trail, a loop trail that starts in the Julian Price Campground, goes over a ridge, follows Bee Tree Creek downstream, and then follows Boone Fork upstream to the Julian Price Picnic Area. The creek is small, with very clear water, and is right beside the trail most of the way. My very first cast was in a shallow pool with no trout in sight, but as soon is the green weenie hit the water, a brown charged out from under a rock and grabbed it. This process was repeated several more times as I worked my way down the trail, and at least three trout were caught with me actually standing in the trail!
