I caught trout in five new creeks (one from my bucket list) and I got a chance to fish with four of my favorite fishing buddies. In addition, I made several short trips to home water and an old favorite and caught lots of wild trout.

I have caught trout in nine new NC creeks since my last post, and eight of them were speckled trout streams! Six are tributaries of larger brook trout streams, and all would be considered "blue lines" by some fishermen, but only one fits my definition of a blue line

I got 13 new NC creeks during spring break to raise my total to 1099.
