This Bear Creek (there are a few in Graham County) is a tributary of Little Snowbird Creek. It runs right beside a gravel road, has a good population of wild rainbow trout, but is not regulated as trout water by NCWRC. It had rained the night before and it was slightly discolored and running a little high, so I fished with a bead head hare's ear nymph. It is more open and much easier wading than Little Snowbird, and I really enjoyed fishing it. I caught 15, and would have fished longer, but a loud clap of thunder made me change my mind. I made it back to the CR-V just before it started pouring.
