2019-04-28 Hominy Valley Blue Line

As far as I'm concerned, a creek is not a real "blue line" unless it does not have a name. This one has a name, but it's probably somebody's "secret fishin' hole," so I will respect that and keep the name to myself. I will say that it is one of many headwater tributaries of South Hominy Creek in Buncombe County, and unlike most of them, this one is on National Forest land. I fish it every couple of years, and I am never disappointed. It contains a decent population of browns, along with a scattering of rainbows and some specs higher up. I caught all three on this particular day, but the rainbows and specs refused to pose for a picture.
