Chestnut Flats Branch is a tiny blue line that flows into Snowbird Creek on national forest land. There is a trail that crosses it farther upstream, but I just waded across Snowbird Creek and started at the mouth. Most fishermen would not bother with it, but it does hold wild trout, so I fished it and caught tiny wild rainbows to increase my total to 971 NC creeks.
